Have a Sierra and its little brother Canyon.
The family resemblance is certainly there. Both outside...
and in...
Just one's $36k and one's $48k.

I just can't understand why they put the no torque until high RPM 3.6 in them, instead of the 4.3.

I'd say fitment but the DOHC 3.6 is probably bigger than the OHV 4.3. Refinement maybe?
I wanna know what caused the 3.6's torque peak to move so far up the RPM band. Max torque on the Vue's 3.6 comes in at 2100 RPM.

It is a truck. If I wanted car like refinement in truck, I would buy a Ridgeline. In other words, I would buy a car. I think it is another example of not thinking things through. I can't wait to find out the fuel mileage under load. Hopefully the little Dmax fixes this. Until, then I'll take a Taco or Frontier.
